Welcome to the website of the Famous Midway Truckstop.

Located at the junction of the A41/A49 in Prees Heath, near Whitchurch, Shropshire the award winning cafe provides a friendly welcome to all road users.

The Midway provides a number of facilities for all transport drivers, please click on the Facilities button on the left to find out more.

Although our prime focus is the transport trade, we of course welcome everyone to savour our wide menu consisting of home-cooked, traditional food served by friendly, cheerful staff.

The Midway is a family run business, started by Patrick and Hylda Calcutt nearly 20 years ago.
With the help of daughter Lynda and son-in-law Geoff, the business grew and flourished. Son Phillip, was responsible for doubling the seating in the Midway by adding an extension to the original building and now runs the business. To find out more just click on the History button on the left.
