Latest on the Lorry/Car
Park
Shropshire North District
Council have recently written to use to advise us that
they will be increasing the charges for using the
lorry/car park starting in October. The charges will be
30 pence for up to 2 hours or £4 for two hours up to 24
hours.
Local council officers
will enforce the new parking regime and will be handing
out £20 fines for those who fail to buy a ticket.
Of course, the
lorry/car park has just been re-surfaced and this is one
way the council hopes to re-coup the cost of the work.
Please note , this is a
pilot scheme and we would be interested in your
comments, so please speak to Phil and fill-out one of

council.
